After my father passed away, I wanted to keep his legacy alive and decided to start my own business. That's when I created Tre' John's LLC, named after the third descendant of my grandfather. I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and started working towards my dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

My family and community were my first taste testers when I started creating my own BBQ rubs. My dad's rubs were always sweet, with a base of sugar and garlic. Once I developed my first product, the John John's Sweet BBQ Rub, within three weeks, I had developed the rest of my seasoning line, including the Pepper Salt, which is perfect for ribs and chicken, Steak Seasoning, which is awesome on brisket, and the Italian Seasoning, which is great on pasta.

Aside from running my business, I'm also heavily involved in my community. I participate in local clean-ups and collect clothes for the less fortunate. It's important to me to give back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey.
